
Student Wellbeing
Health and Wellbeing is an important focus for teaching and learning at St Pius X School. The development of the whole person – emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually – lies at the basis of our educational and communal philosophy. We emphasise the building of positive relationships across the school community; nurturing a strong sense of belonging, positivity and identity within our student body.
Our school’s wellbeing team comprises of our Wellbeing Leader, School Counsellor, Regulation and Relationships leader and our Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader. This team is strengthened by our Wellbeing coalition team that meets regulalty to keep our approaches and programs on track.
Our Green Canteen, weekly breakfast club, social education programs for children and community health initiatives encourage full engagement in the life and spirit of our school. Our outreach initiatives, family support programs and focus on student happiness are all integral facets that build the Health and Wellbeing culture at St Pius X School.
