Our Facilities.
While we're proud to be Warrnambool's smallest Catholic school, our size has never limited what we can offer. We're fortunate to have facilities that even some larger schools would envy, spaces that give our students room to play, perform, learn, and grow in their faith.
The Oval
Many visitors are surprised to discover our oval (it's hidden from view at the front of the school), but it's the heart of lunchtime activity. With an abundance of space, students can run, kick balls, and play with friends every day.
Digital Technology Lab
In our Digital Technology lab, students explore desktop computers, laptops, and iPads, while also learning to program small robots, develop typing skills, and more. Every student accesses this lab for one hour each week during their specialist Digital Technology lesson. While we do incorporate some digital technology into regular classroom learning, we keep this limited to reduce overall screen time.
St Pius X Church
With our parish church located onsite, we're fortunate to use this beautiful space for fortnightly assemblies where there is more than enough space for our entire school community to comfortably gather to celebrate student achievements. We also utilise this space for liturgies throughout the year, marking special occasions in our school and faith community.
Hands on Learning Shed
Our Hands on Learning shed is a space our students take great pride in. This dedicated woodwork area supports a program that allows children to explore a different style of learning. Allowing building practical skills, confidence, and creativity with their hands.
Basketball Stadium
Our full-sized indoor basketball court is a hub for PE lessons and gives students a space to burn energy during wet weather play. The stadium also features a stage, which biannually transforms into the centrepiece for our school musical.
